PETS & WILDLIFE:
As those of us with pets know, a trip to the vet is inevitable, in the case of dogs and cats compulsary, if only for the annual check up.
As a puppy I took Duke, my Border Collie,

to a local vet who had a penchant for surgical gloves and checking certain scent glands! Duke was not amused and developed a morbid dislike of said protective gloves, relating them solely to a certain part of his anatomy, eight years on and he still casts a wary eye when Barry, who works with me at the nursery, wears these gloves to protect his hands from the compost.
Two years into Duke’s life and I was told about a relatively new veterinary practice that had set up nearby where we live in Solihull. I registered with Amicus Veterinary Practice who are based in Shirley near Solihull.
Dr Roy Earle and his dedicated staff have given me, as a dog owner, great peace of mind and for Duke a relaxed, friendly and happy experience when we visit the practice.
Amicus not only welcome pets, they also care for and treat our local wildlife.
Their website, which can be found via the link above, gives all the contact details.
