Big Garden Birdwatch

On the 26th and 27th January 2008 the RSPB is holding its annual Big Garden Birdwatch when it invites us all to record the birds that visit our gardens during the course of those two days. The results are used to give the RSPB a valuable insight into the bird population of this country, and how numbers are increasing or decreasing in certain areas and the possible causes.

The survey is open to all. To take part visit http://www.rspb.org.uk/birdwatch where more information is given about the survey and how to take part and submit your results.

Although this survey is only taking place over the course of two days, any bird sightings accompanied by photographs and details are always welcome at Oaktree Home and Garden on any day of the year. A special post will be added soon where you can add your bird sightings and pictures.
