Bill and Kate’s Autumn Watch Gaffe
As much as I enjoy watching Autumn Watch, the comments and accompanied humour regarding the death of a squirrel by electrocution in Bill Oddie’s garden was disturbing considering the object and nature of the programme.
Perhaps even more disturbing is the fact that Bill Oddie has normal electric cable running down the fence in his garden to the shed. Surely this should be encased within conduit, not just for the sake of the squirrels but for any visitor or workman who might be in the garden. I am assuming the wire was not inside a casing as I doubt very much that even squirrels could chew through conduit.
