Plug Plants 2008
I am sure that the gales accompanied by rain, sleet and snow are but a temporary measure as I turn my mind to more warming thoughts of Spring and Summer. More importantly I am planning the displays my hanging baskets and patio planters are going to provide in the forthcoming Summer season.
The most popular and convenient method of buying young plants is undoubtedly the Plug Plant.
A young plant grown from seed or cutting, well rooted and ready to plant or grow on with no root disturbance allowing the plant to continue maturing unhindered.
The variety of plants grown by this method are numerous. I have chosen a wide selection of popular plants to sell from this site and some less well known. There are bound to be some plants or varieties I have left out, however, if you have a request for a certain item please contact me with your request as there is a fairly good chance I will be able to obtain it.
I am preparing the list of plants during February and they will start appearing on the Oaktree Home and Garden site fairly soon. Most varieties will be sold in either packs of six or ten plugs. If you require larger amounts simply contact me by email or telephone to discuss your requirements. In general plug plants for summer bedding, baskets and patio planters will be for sale from March through to the end of May.
