Oaktree Home and Garden

Nature, the Key to Life on Earth.

Keep off the Grass

I couldn’t believe what I witnessed last week, somebody cutting their front lawn in mid February. The following day it was covered in several centimeters of snow.

It has been a long winter and most gardeners are getting impatient to get outside and do something in the garden. Leave cutting the lawn until March when it starts to show signs of growth. There are plenty of other jobs to do, machinery and tools need checking over, pots and trays need cleaning and probably replacing! If you have a greenhouse, some housekeeping inside and out will be required, the same applies to sheds.
